Ron Schaefer
Contemporary Realist
New York

Ron Schaefer is known for his still life, landscape and, in particular, for his Industrial paintings which depict the steel mills and mill towns in and around Pittsburgh, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. A unique feature of the artist's work is that he designs and fabricates all of his own frames at his studio, which is located near the Hudson River in New York State in an early-19th century one-room schoolhouse.
